Evergreen Trees
Evergreen trees provide wonderful color in a variety of landscape settings. The term “evergreen” refers to trees that normally retain most of their foliage (needles) throughout the winter. The ability to retain needles throughout the winter makes them especially good trees for maintaining year-round landscape color in cold-weather climates. Evergreen trees are versatile and can be used as solitary or grouped specimens, hedges, natural privacy screens, or backdrops for smaller flowering plants. They are specifically planted in the path of prevailing winds and used as a windbreak to deflect or intercept winds. Kendall Hill Nursery has a variety of Evergreen trees suitable for numerous climates and growing zones.
