White Fir
Kendall Hill Nursery grows and offers a variety of Evergreen trees including White Fir, also known as a Concolor Fir. The White Fir has light-colored bark and silver blue-green needles and an upright pyramidal growth habit of youth slowly transitions to a dense, upright columnar appearance with age. The layered branching and highly symmetrical outline is distinct and pleasing. Its best performance occurs in full to partial sun in moist, sandy-loam, rich soils that are well-drained, but it is somewhat adaptable to poor soils, compacted soils, heat, and drought. They mature at 50’ in height with a 20’ spread and can be grown in Zones 4 to 7.
