Serviceberry

Kendall Hill Nursery grows and offers the Serviceberry, or Amelanchier Grandiflora . The Serviceberry is a popular ornamental shrub with visually interesting flowers, bark, and fall color. It prefers good drainage and air circulation and requires watering during periods of drought. The Serviceberry’s white spring flowers bloom to ¼” fruit that is loved by birds. It matures anywhere from 15’ to 25’ tall with a 15’ to 25’ spread. With proper water and soil it can successfully be grown from Zones 4 to 9.
