Pagodatree
Kendall Hill Nursery grows and offers the Pagoda Tree, or Regent Japanese Pagodatree. The Pagodatree has an upright, clearly defined, spherical growth habit early in its life. As it matures it becomes wider than it is tall. Its growth rate is rapid when young and then slows as it ages. The Pagodatree reaches about 60’ at maturity with an 80’ spread. It performs best in full sun and in rich, partially moist, well-drained sandy loam soils of average fertility. It is adaptable to a variety habitats and is especially urban tolerant. Pagodas have no serious insect or disease problems and are mildly tolerant of heat and drought. It can be successfully grown in Zones 4 to 7.
